Administrative policy records, 1915-1971.

Contains the administrative records of the deans of the College of Law at the University of Florida. Included in this series are the records of deans Harry Trusler, Henry Fenn, and Frank Maloney. The college's participation in the Association of American Law Schools and its relationship to the American Bar Association and the Florida Bar Association are well documented. Also of interest are Trusler's correspondence with Senator Charles O. Andrews, Florida Supreme Court Justice Glen Terrell, and Florida's Attorneys General. Trusler also served as legal advisor to the university president before the establishment of the Office of General Counsel. Of special note are the files pertaining to the admission of the first African-American student in 1957.
